Calendar Blocking

TL;DR

I’d love the ability to block one calendar event on a different calendar (e.g. “workout” on my personal email is blocked as “health-dnd” on my work calendar. I currently use Notion Calendar to do this, and it makes my life really easy, but when I use Amie, this singular blocked event shows up as two overlapping events (😭)

Impact

This functionality will allow me to use both my work and personal calendars in the same app, without visually cluttering the screen with duplicate events on each other.

Functionality

Similar to Notion Calendar’s blocking functionality, with the ability to rename events on other calendars. It all counts as one event. Link to a similar feature in Notion Calendar

Example Use Case

I have a personal event to go to, but it’s private and conflicts with a work slot. I don’t want to divulge the personal information because it’s sensitive, but I want my coworkers to know that I’m out for a personal event. I don’t want to create two different calendar events- I want to be able to use one, and prevent the finnicky overlap in my calendar.
